Atalanta
Mary Cain was the youngest American track and field athlete to make a world championship. After her New York Times Op-Ed exposed the truth behind Nike’s racing team, she established Atalanta - the first female owned professional women’s racing team. The team’s goal is to nurture professional female athletes and instill healthy habits that go beyond the sport; in addition to providing valuable community reach-out.
This video tells this team’s inspirational story. Shooting on location in iconic New York City, the film follows the team through their favorite running paths and conducted interviews discussing their professional careers.
